Top 3 waterfalls in Bali, Indonesia
Let's visit together the three most beautiful waterfalls in North Bali! I simply love waterfalls, I can't get enough of them, they are somewhat magical - and there are plenty of them here! Some of them are difficult to get to, it's kind of a short but not an easy hike to get there - you have to work hard for the experience, but I'll also show you some that are easily accessible. I think all of them are suitable for a fairy tale, but there will definitely be others who have other favorites, so I look forward to your recommendations in the comment section below!

Sekumpul waterfall
Sekumpul waterfall is considered to be the most beautiful waterfall in Bali - it's not a surprise, I think the pictures taken here speak for themselves. The waterfall is located in a village called Sekumpul, about 2 hours drive from Ubud. However, to see it up close, some effort is required, be prepared that there will be a lots of stairs - and it will be more of a problem on the way back.

If you're up for an adventure and committed, you can expect: dirt roads, lots of slippery steps and crossing a river - not an easy hike, and I'm in good shape, but the return trip on the stairs wore me out as well :) but it's absolutely worth it. It is possible to hire a local guide to help you approach the falls, but Sekumpul Falls is often best viewed from a distance, so you can enjoy it in all its glory.

Sekumpul Falls actually consists of seven different waterfalls, each reaching different heights and each pouring a different amount of water. After tackling the steps on the way back , you can finally sit down and also take part in a really exciting coffee and tea tasting and buy amazing coffees and teas. My favorite was the avocado coffee.

Jembong waterfall
Not far from the famous GitGit Falls, Jembong Falls is unfortunately often overshadowed by its popular neighbor. But maybe that's not a problem, at least there are no crowds. This waterfall is relatively easy to access, the easiest of the three, you just have to climb a few stairs.

Spiritual healings sometimes take place here, thanks to the stunning and untouched natural surroundings that make this location perfect for such magical experiences. The waterfall has a gentle slope and water flow, making it an absolutely ideal place for bathing.

And if you walk a little further down, you can also find pools in which you can also swim in a wonderful environment.

Yeh Mampeh waterfall in Singaraja
My absolute favorite. The small village of Les is home to Yeh Mampeh Waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls in Bali. The waterfall is practically untouched, last time we were the only ones here, and at other times we only saw a few locals here.

You can get up here with a shorter hike, you have to walk uphill for about a quarter of an hour or twenty minutes to reach the waterfall. But the road leading here is also very beautiful, you are practically walking in the jungle.

It's a wonderful sight in itself, but it's worth going in to bathe, I think the greatest experience is going under the waterfall and enjoying the mass of water rushing over you - a truly special experience.

. The water is of course very cold, but the magic of the moment makes you forget that.

If you are in Bali, be sure to visit a waterfall, because it's an experience of a lifetime!
